British Home School Help is our space to share resources that will hopefully help other students to access the British curriculum.  There are many great educational sites out there, but it can be hard to find free resources that are directly applicable to the British system as home schooling is not yet as common in the UK as it is in other countries. We therefore created resources for our children based on the National Curriculum at KS3 and the relevant Cambridge iGCSE subject syllabus' at KS4.   

As we searched for online resources we also created a bank of tried and tested websites to supplement our resources and help along the way.

We began teaching our children when we moved to a remote part of the world for our work with no school available near by.  Everyone does it in their own way and we tried several different approaches but found our children liked the structure of a timetable similar to the 'normal' school they had always been part of.  Although it has not been easy, it has been really rewarding for us as a family. We invite you to explore our site and while it is far from perfect or complete, we hope that it is helpful.
